If you are expecting that Facebook will promote your business without you paying for it, you are sadly mistaken. Those days are long gone. A way to get around that roadblock is to make sure you get all of your customer’s email addresses-and email the customer directly. Why pay Facebook to promote your products when you can do it for free? Use Facebook to find initial customers only, then use email to contact those customers about your deals and answer any questions they may have one-on-one. Facebook used to be good for business, but those days are over.
No matter what the social platform is…whether it’s Instagram, Pinterest…whatever…you need to have access to your customer’s contact info so that YOU can be in control of your marketing.
Always cut out the middle man to reduce costs. This is part of what we mean when we say “lean”.
